Leganes president Victoria Pavon has fummed at the loss of Martin Braithwaite to Barcelona on Thursday.
The Danish international joined the Catalan gaints on a fee worth 18 million Euros after the Spanish FA and La Liga granted Barcelona to sign an emergency striker following injuries to Ousmane Dembele and Luis Suarez.
However, as the current rules stand, Leganés will not be allowed to sign a replacement for Braithwaite, much to the frustration of the club’s president, Victoria Pavón.
“It’s something we saw coming and it has certainly made us weaker,”.
“There is nothing more to say, the damage has already been done.” Pavon told reporters.
Leganes sits in 19th position on the Spanish top flight have just 19 points so far.
